Great location that's very close to the station and also close to a lot of restaurants and coffee shops. Even though the hotel is a little 'tired' and could do with an upgrade, it served our needs perfectly. The room was a bit larger than a standard business hotel room in Japan. The lobby is spacious which is also a good thing when compared to newer hotels that have tiny lobbies and front desks. The charge for a late check out at 13:00 was very reasonable. And finally the Smart TV in the room was a nice touch.

Perfect accommodation. Staff super nice and kind, location very handy, literally 3 minutes walk from the train station and not far from city center. Room quite spacious and silent, with all the necessary, plus no short of amenities (toothpaste, toothbrush, slippers...). With a comfortable and pretty big bed. Neighborhood not very lively, but there are a few good restaurants just across the hotel. And all this comes with a very convenient price.

After staying in two different hotels in Tokyo, I moved on to this one which cost about half as much as the previous two per night. As far as rooms went, this was a lot more spacious than I anticipated. For half the price of a 2/3 star hotel in Tokyo, you get a room in this hotel that's twice as big with the same amenities.

We were given a corner room on the top floor which has an extra ledge at the corners which were big enough to put our suitcases and other stuff. This made the room seemed bigger than the states size. Thank you Sun Palace for giving us that room! Location was also very near Shizuoka station yet was on a quiet street. Maybe restaurants and convenience stores nearby, including at Shizuoka station.

Breakfast was a choice between a Japanese or western breakfast and was served (not a buffet). Very tasty and sufficiently portioned. Self-serve coffee, water and curry was good!
